I wear many hats: a chocolate consultant, cooking teacher, writer and author. I have published a book of poetry, and am currently working on a novel. I have been writing online for The Examiner since February, 2010, currently writing for 5 different subjects ranging from cats to children's toys and childcare. I also write for Smart Travel as a featured writer and for various other publications as a free-lancer. Writing has always been foremost in my life, even before I achieved my BA and BEd in English and Music from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. My latest challenge is starting my own cooking blog, at the recommendation of my students: .http://wwwlittlecookfromtheprairie.blogspot.com/. I advocate for pets, children and Las Vegas, and am a proud wife, mom and Nana.
